According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and / or other security regulatory requirements, HP announced a Hp laptop battery for certain notebook computer to implement a voluntary recall and replacement program. HP customers affected by this plan, for each of its verified need for recall of the batteries, you can receive the replacement laptop battery, do not have to pay any fees.
Recall plan on the following dates announced:
HP and the battery manufacturers that some notebooks some of the batteries may pose a potential security risk customers. These batteries may overheat, customers constitute a risk of fire and burns.

Note: Not all of the following HP notebook computers are equipped with the affected batteries. HP hope that you will verify that all installed in notebook computers or as options or spare parts to buy batteries.

How to proceed
If your laptop is listed in the Program website, please follow these steps to determine whether this recall program affect your battery:
Print out these steps as a reference to help assist you to gather relevant information in order to determine whether you are affected by the plan.
Save and turn off all open programs. Turn off the Hp ze2000 battery.
Disconnect any external power supply.
To remove the battery from the notebook computer.

Not all bar code with the following characters at the beginning of the battery are affected.
